cvshost

Just a few minutes after turning my PC on I get
a “cvshost.exe performed an error the program will be
terminated” error message. It’s running Win 2000
Professional. I’ve reinstalled the OS but it started to do
it again.
Would anyone know what it is?

Geesh. You'd think they'd learn to cross-post. Since I wasted my time
before checking your reply, here's mine (but I'm not going to waste my
time wandering to the other newsgroups).

cvshost.exe is not on my system so it is not part of the standard
install. Do a search on the file. Maybe the path will tell you to
which application it is associated. Right-click on the file,
Properties, Version, and see if the vendor, decription, and program name
indicate its use.
