Cut and Paste Recovery

Does any one know of a way to recover cut items that were
pasted to a cd burner drive? I cut and pasted some files
form my hard drive to the cd burner drive, burned the cd,
and now I can not read the cd. I have a feeling that
these files are gone. If anyone can help, please let me
know. Thanks

Are you trying to read the files on the cd on the same machine on which
you created the cd? If not, then you probably used a cdrw - the same
program in which you created the cdrw would need to be on the new
machine. This is a problem of formats. If this is the case, go back to
the old machine, copy the files off the cdrw and burn them to a cd-r.
The cd-r will be readable in your new machine.
