Cut and Cancel

I cut a folder and was going to move it to another location on my hard drive.
After I hit paste and before it finished "100 megs" I canceled the move.
Now I can't find the folder or it's files anywhere. Is there a temp location
that they could be at?

Thx

In the future don't use cut. Use copy, then delete the original. Try
some of the utilities to recover files. Stop using the computer until
you try the data recovery.

Executive Software “Undelete”:

If none of these work another option is a data recovery service suck as
www.ontrack.com or www.drivesavers.com. They are very expensive.

I tired a few of these recovery programs and I get nothing. I was moving a
ZIP folder that had a bunch of misc documents in there, and I did not delete
the folder, just canceled it's move after being cut. I used the tools and
did a search for .zip or some of the files that were in the folder, and I am
getting nothing.

Thx

Did you check the Recycle Bin?

Nope. They were in RAm when you hit cancel.
