I would like to customize the folders in Win 2000 similar to WinXP.

I have tried using the customize folder wizard, but I want to select
some of windows in-built icons.

I know in WinXP, when you click customize to select an icon for the
folder, it defaults to a windows folder, something like system32\shell
or something like that, but I can't find it in Win2000.

Can anyone advise where the internal icon files are stored in Win2000,
so I can select them in the customize wizard???

TIA

Many of the Win2K system icons are in %systemroot%\system32\shell32.dll.
Another possible source is moricons.dll in the same folder. Various
executables such as explorer.exe and iexplore.exe have built-in icons
which may be useful.
