Customizing Discussion Group

I have a discussion group in a subweb.
How can I change the text in the headings on the submission page so
that the change shows in the messages.

I can change the text on the submission page but it doesn't change on
the message.

For instance I want to change the header "From" to read "Condition".

Right now, a reader would put a note under "Condition" but when the
message is read, the note appears under the original heading "From"

It is messing up an otherwise effective disaster relief posting board.

You can't change the names of the form fields to do other functions because the posted pages are server generated
