Text not wrapping in posts on my discussion web site

I

Ian Mullet

At my website each paragraph in a discussion post is displayed as a single
line of text, meaning lots of scrolling...
Here is the site:
http://mysteryplay.freehostia.com/index.htm
click on "overall structure" discussion post for a good example
I would like the text to wrap in a reasonable way rather than having to
scroll through a paragraph.
I made this page following the "discussion web site" template in frontpage
2003. The only change I made to the HTML is as follows:
In the _____post.htm page I changed the a line from
"s-article-format="HTML/BR"" to "s-article-format="HTML/PRE""
I made this change following the advice of a discussion board post because
previously the page would not display paragraph breaks. The change fixed that
problem and now paragraph breaks are apparent. However, it created the new
problem of not having the text wrap in a reasonable manner.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You have three choices:

1) Use <pre> to have paragraph breaks - this gives long lines of text
an no word wrapping

2) Have word wrapping - this eliminates paragraph breaks.

3) Use a different method (example server side scripting and database)
for the discussion web

Only option 3 will give you paragraph breaks with word wrap.
