Customising text

Does anyone know how to improve the sharpness of the text
on the computer? I know theres a program somewhere, and i
have tried the display settings on XP but i think it can
be improved. Thank You

Hi, not sure about sharpness, per say, but "readability" is better some say using the Clear Type preference. You can tune it to your specific preference as well (http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/1.htm). To find Clear Type, right click on your desktop and select properties. Click the appearance tab/effects button. Under "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" select Clear Type. I personally don't prefer Clear Type, but you might find easier on the eye.
