Hi All,

Recently I change my Win98 with XP but I can't find how to set my printing
page to custom size, does anyone know how to do that in XP? As we know in
Win98 we can set the paper size in custome mode. My printer is Epson LX800,
and I use built-in driver provide by WinXP. I need to print invoice in half
A4 paper size.
TIA

The answer is, probably, "you can't". You see, the native driver provides
just enough functionality to allow you to print and is really very basic.
Any enhancements that you were used to when using the manufacturer's driver
under 98 will no longer be available to you (and, before you ask, you cannot
install a 98 driver under XP and you cannot use compatibility). This has
nothing whatsoever to do with the OS and is a function of the printer
driver. The LX800 is, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, nearly a decade
old (at least) and support has long since been discontinued. You have two
choices: - hook the printer up to a box still running 98 and use that to
print from, or buy a dot matrix that is supported (if you really need to use
dot matrix).

No other choice.

Start (or Control Panel - Printers and Faxes. R-click the printer's
Icon, Properties. It may differ by printer make, but for my HP one,
click Printing Preferences on the General page, then click Advanced, and
there is a paper size box you can scroll to quite a lot of different
standard papers
