Custom Tool Bar

I am running MS Word 2003. I have repeatedly set up customized toolbars for
fonts I frequently use, but after I close Word and open it again, the tool
bar is gone.

Custom toolbars can be saved in templates or documents. While the default is
to save them in normal.dot, this is not necessarily the best place for them.
A key is to be aware of where they are being saved. This shows in a window
on the Customize dialog box. See
http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions
on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including
AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc.
