Custom boot logo for P4C800 (E and non-E)

Is there a simple way to update the boot logo that appears when booting an
Asus P4C800-E (and non -E) mainboard?

I've seen conflicting information about using the LOGO.EXE program, Windows
based BIOS update software and other more manual methods. None of it
mentions this mainboard in particular.

Manual page 5-8 has info on ASUS MyLogo2 for the P4C800-E Deluxe.

Don't know how I missed it but it works. Kind of tricky getting a decent
image to fit... JPEG has images all messed up, BMP is huge and I couldn't
get it to recognize a GIF created in Corel - but I think Corel messes up
GIFs.
