SATA for P4C800-E

Hi,

I am getting a WD Raptor 36 gig 10,000 rpm SATA drive that I would like to
use as system boot/ programs drive on P4C800-E. I wish to use another
ATA100 120 meg on the Primary IDE Channel as a storage drive.

I will not be using any RAID.


Can I use the following configuration?

1 SATA as boot drive, non RAID
1 120g Standard IDE on Primary IDE Port
1 DVD on Secondary IDE Port as Master
1 CDROM on Secondary as Slave

Also, what is the largest size IDE drive that the current ASUS bios will
recognize directly on this board?

Not sure of the largest size drive but the sata/pata/cdrom/dvd combo will
work fine.
