SkyStar2 card not found by P4C800-e

Hi all!
I have some problem with installation of a SkyStar2 card (PCI) on my new
P4C800-e deluxe mainboard.
Seems that card is not "sensed", or at least my operative system doesn't
find it. I used WinXP+SP2 and Win2k+SP4.
If I check with Asus monitor, PCI slot with skystar2 card report
"available".
BIOS is updated, and all drivers are at last available version.
CPU: Intel P4 3.20E, RAM: 2x512 PC3200 400MHz dual-channel
My system have also:
- MatroxG550 AGP card;
- Adaptec RAID SCSI 3200s controller (with boot enabled, 2 Maxtor SCSI HDD
on first channel, 2 Plextor burners in other channel);
- Serial card with 2 supplemental COM ports.

I already disabled IEEE1394, USBs and internal disk controllers. I am using
internal network and audio cards.
I tryed different positions for PCI cards, but no way to make windows find
SkyStar card (this card is working on other PCs, so is OK).

Any clue or tip to help me?
Thank you in advance for any suggestion.
Bye
Roberto

You did install the drivers first...then the card, right?

Hi Frank.

No, not exactly. I has not able to install drivers because card was not
found by operative system.
But I have news about my problem: my supplier give me another skystar2, and
the new one was catched by OS at first time.
I suppose the first one was broken or not well working.

Thank you anyway for your support and time. :)

Regards
Roberto
