custom animations

I cannot remember how to correct this problem.
I have a presentation where the slides change by using hyperlink buttons
(designed on the master) to predetermined slides. Kind of like a website.
Same buttons on all slides.
On each slide I have complicated custom animations.
If I come back to a slide that was previously played the animations do not
play again and I just see the slide where it ended on the previous view.
How can I correct this.

Just remembered, I need to put in a blank dummy slide. It works.
