Custom animation w/out need to click??

I am a newbie at PowerPoint and I am just experimenting with custom
animations of text blocks and shape objects...it appears that within a slide
I need to click for each object to animate. Is there a way to create an
animation like in a timeline sequence, where I don't need to click everytime
I want a particular object to animate??

Thanks.

For PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
Go into Custom Animation,
Select the effects that you have added, and change the Start: "On Click" to
"After Previous".

For PowerPoint 2000 and below,
Go into Custom Animation,
Under the Start animation section, select Automatically instead of On mouse
click.

If you are using PowerPoint 2002 or newer, you can change the start type
from 'On Click' to 'with previous' or 'after previous'.

Each of these will do what they suggest in starting several animations at
the same time or sequencially.
