Custom Animation and Animation Schemes

I am trying to create a PP that contains different animation to make the PP
fun. I am having trouble doing this since it will not allow me to use any
animation schemes. When I try to custom aninmate the screen opens up to an
animation box not like the microsoft help guide suggested for adding
animation. Is there an option that I have turned off or something?

Have a look at Tools - Options - Edit and uncheck the three checkboxes at
the bottom of this dialog.
