wherever i am---email, im, web sites----the cursor "unclicks" within seconds,
and i have to reclick the mouse on my page in order to keep typing. the
program acts as if i clicked the cursor onto another page. got a new mouse
but didn't help.

can anyone tell me why this is happening and if it is easy to fix?

thanks

thanks joe,

i uploaded the "prevent programs from stealing focus" but this problem is
still happening.

very frustrating. every few seconds i have to reclick the mouse in whatever
area i am in, otherwise, it acts as if i have clicked my mouse somewhere else.

any other ideas on what might help?

thanks a lot.

that slipped through? Try one of these free online virus scans:
