Cursor is now tiny in Word 2003 - help!

Last week when I booted my machine and opened Word 2003 (v. 11.6113.5703),
I noticed the cursor/insertion point I-beam was a tiny fat black line,
less than half the size of a small letter in 10pt type. I have no viruses
on the machine and no other app is affected. Is there a way to return it
to normal size? Thanks!

No one knows what causes this, but most users report that switching to 500%
Zoom and back fixes it, at least temporarily.
