Cursor disappers in Comments

My Cursor disappers when entering text in Powerpoint, Word or Excel. Also it
disappears when using Save As Function. Surprisingly it does not happen in
Wordpad or Notepad. I am very disappointed. If anyone has the suggestion
kindly reply me at the earliest.
 
Maybe try changing hardware acceleration.

Which cursor are you using? If you change it via Windows Control Panel
(choose "Mouse" and then check the Pointers and Pointer Options tabs), does
it still disappear? What if you deselect "hide while typing"?
