curser/ sticky or freeze

Hi group
I hope you can help me, every time I move my mouse the curser freeze or
sticks for a moment. This happens quite frequent. I'm using Window XP.
My pointing device is clean and I'm wondering if this a registry problem

Have a look to see if there is a process running that is consuming a high
percentage of the CPU.

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select the "Processes" tab to do this.
