Cursed yellow pop-up balloons...

Jerry

Just reformatted my HD and re-installed XP Pro and SP-2.
How do I get rid of those pesky little yellow pop-up
balloons now? I did it in the past, but can't remember
how. It's those ones that say, "Take the XP Tour" or "You
have unused icons on your desktop," etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Melvin, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to pay to
get the answer. I'm also not sure that would answer my
question anyway, since I'm not talking about the mouse
over/hover feature. These pop-ups appear seemingly
uninvited.

Anyone else have a solution?

Man, I hate those things. Took me a week to figure out how to get
rid of them when I installed XP. Now I've forgotten how I did it,
so I can't help you. But they really are annoying, and useless,
aren't they?
