If I need to have the date in an autotext phrase, how do I make it stay
current, and not the date I originally entered?

Hi

Use the { DATE } field. You can add switches to identify the format you
want, eg { DATE \@ "d MMMM yyyy" }.

Then select the whole field and create an AutoText from that.

Hope this helps.

Or do the same with a createdate field so that the date inserted will remain
fixed at the insertion point.
