Cumularive Patch update

I have been getting this Email and it said its from
Microsoft to install this Cumulative Patch update in a
attachment in the Email, but Norton is telling me that
the email has a virus. Is anyone else getting this and
is this really from MS its a Net Security Patch.
It looks like its from Microsoft

EVERYONE else has been getting this email (nearly).
If you have any editing instincts, you will notice that it is only
superficially convincing. It has many little flaws, but, overall, those
polecats did a pretty good job.

There are at least two posts in the last hour about this. Click on the "+"
sign to see the threads.

They contain a virus. delete them.

DEFINATELY VIRUS!!! I've had close to 300 messages since
last Thurs.

Microsoft NEVER attaches updates. Updates are only
available from their website.!!.

Don't bother asking Microsoft. Ask your ISP!

It is in fact a virus, I have posted a question to
Microsoft asking for a way to block this Email. please
remember, Microsoft will not ever send you a patch. These
are only available in update services, please Email me if
you want to know how to get patches.

What the hell is going on? I used to get the odd one of these, but now
I am getting 30+ a day, making my e-mail really annoying to check.
Each one is subtley different, Norton Security patch, MS Security
Update, Windows Patch, Undelievered Mail.

I have Norton 2003 running which delete them, but it stops EVERY
e-mail as they d/l and tells me, it's taking ages to chekc my mail and
delete them all. Is there an answer?

This is VIRUS.Don't install it.Delete it.Microsft never sends any patches
individually.
