Cumputer hangs

Can anyone help me? I have upgraded from XP to Vista and I find my computer
hangs when I close down and I mhave to shut off at the mains.

Hi,

Have you check the system and application logs in the event viewer? There
are often clues to hangs here.

Hi

Just check your system minimum hardware requirements for installing Windows Vista, If your machine doesn't meet the minimum requirement then the system might hang, or else will u explain in detail how it hang, i mean does it hangs while using any specific application, then it might be easier to short out the problem.
