Ctrl+F4 doesn't work

At some point the Ctrl+F4 shortcut key stopped working. I have since
applied SP2 and it still doesn't work. I've checked Group Policies, I
searched the MS Knowledge Base and various Internet sites, but can't find
anyone else describing this problem or a fix.

Has anyone heard of this problem? TIA for any suggestions.

CTRL + F4
Close the active document in programs that allow you to have multiple
documents open simultaneously.

Some keyboard shortcuts may not work if StickyKeys is turned on in
Accessibility Options.

If you are connected to Windows through Microsoft Terminal Services Client,
some shortcuts have changed. For more information, see the online
documentation for Terminal Services Client.

What are you trying to use CTRL + F4 for?

It would be a minor miracle if this had anything to do with your problem,
but...

WinCinema Manager (installed by WinDVD) caused that on my system. I don't
recall which version of WinDVD it was; the current version (6) doesn't do
it. (I prevent WinCinema Manager from loading, all the same - it would be of
no use to me at this time.)

Good luck.

Someone has provided the answer -- an older version of WinDVD's WinCinema
Manager was 'stealing' the keystroke. Upgrading the program has resolved
the issue.
