I have a process running called IvhIdsvc.exe which is
using 100% of the CPU. If I stop this process my machine
runs ok, but with it on my machine is so slow. Tried to
find this file but its not visable on my HDD. Also the
net has not yielded any results. Can anyone help.

Searched on lvhidsvc.exe with an L rather than an I, maybe that's your
problem. Looks like its something to do with some TV remote control
thing. You look pretty sure its two I's not a L and an I though.

I iam so happy!!! It was lifeveiw's program causing the
problem. I will have to invest in a bigger LCD screen.
