Cryptography service?

Hi, I just tried installing KB835732 on my system, but the
installer keeps saying that it can't verify Update.inf,
and suggests that I make sure the Cryptography service is
working. My question: what is this "Cryptography service"
and how do I make sure it's working?

(I'm offline until I get this patched, by the way, so if
this requires me being connected to the internet, then
I'll need some extra suggestions.)

Start | Run | Type: services.msc | Scroll down to and
double click: Cryptographic Services | Make sure it's set to
Automatic | Apply | Start button | OK | Does it start???
