Can't install updates

When I attempt to install os updates from microsoft I
receive the following setup error:

Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
Update.inf. Make sure the cryptographic service is
running on this computer.

Cryptography does appear to be enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try starting there and if the methods given in KB822798 do not resolve
the problem you will find the Windows Update experts in the following
newsgroup:

Windows Update
AKA: microsoft.public.windowsupdate newsgroup
