Crypto service

i accidently uninstalled the Crypto service in the Non-plug and play device
in the Device manager, how can I re-install it ? I am unable to re-install
using the Add Hardaware option...

Please help.

See if a System Restore rollback helps you restore the missing service. For
more information on System Restore, refer the following site:

If Something Goes Wrong, Roll Back to a Previous State:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/evaluation/features/systemrestore.mspx

In case that does not help, download and apply the cryptsvc.reg available at
the following link:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/reg/cryptsvc.reg

Download the file and save it to Desktop. Right-click the file and choose
Merge.
