I am running Vista. When i need to draw on a black background my curser
becomes invisible, becaus eit is black. On my other PC which runs XP it
reverses to white when the background is not white. Which setting do i need
to use to make the same happen under Vista?

I am using this with photo applications.

Thanks

Which specific applications ?
Are they certified to work on Vista?
Have you contacted the manufacturer of the apps for their statement of
support of Windows Vista?

This is an application compatibility issue not a Vista related problem.

Hey Mike, thanks for the reply. there are several applications. Photoshop
elements is one of them. the same is in MS Paint and other. Under XP it
shows a white crosshair.

I have not contacted the manufacturer yet, because i believed there would be
a Vista setting that would allow a white crosshair, even if it were
encapsulated with a black line, as the other pointers.

Thanks,

Go to Control Panel, select Mouse, then pointers.
You can change it there.
