critical updates dont

since july 17, 2003, i have tried to install the critical
patch: 818529: June 2003, Cumulative Patch for Internet
Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 in excess of 20 times. every
time i go back to the windows update page, i get the same
message: i need to install this patch. when i review my
installation history, it says that this patch has been
successfully installed, yet i still get the message that i
need to install 818529: June 2003, Cumulative Patch for
Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 everytime i run
the "scan for updates" applet. also, my windows critical
update program tells me daily that i need this patch. i am
running win ME and internet explorer 6.0 SP1; Q328970;
Q324929; Q330994; and i dont know what other patches have
been applied, as these are all that show in the help...
about internet explorer dialog box. can anyone tell me
why this is happening?

Hi there,
could you please do me a favor, and check the file versions for the
following files on your system:

mshtml.dll
shdocvw.dll
urlmon.dll

Pleaset let me know what you see.
