Critical error 101

The Microsoft Antisypware was working fine up until a
week ago. I have it set to run daily and one day it just
stopped. The message "Critical error 101...." popped up
and said to uninstall and then reinstall it. I did that,
but the same error still pops up. Anyone else have this
problem?

Hello Carol

Empty your IE cache and your other temporary file folders,
eg: c:\temp, c:\windows\temp or C:\Documents and
Settings\<name>\Local Settings\Temp (the path to your temp
folder will change depending on your name) - sometimes
programmes can be hidden in there - watch out for
mysterious *.exe files or *.dll files in those folders.
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Goto start menu then control panel and to add/remove
programs Remove MSAntispy then go to Start Menu and
C:/drive then Program Files and delete the Microsoft
AntiSpyware folder

Then Use your search feature(Start Menu>Search) for "all
files and folders" and delete these 2 files which will be
in the Windows\system32 folder

GCCollection.dll

gcUnCompress.dll

Then download MS Antispy again from this link:
