I can't alter the CREATOR OWNER permissions on the c:
drive. I'm logged on as Administrator and all the
permissions for CREATOR OWNER are blank. I hit full
control and apply but all permission boxes go blank.

The TEMP directory is read-only and the PeopleSoft
application needs to write to it for reporting purposes.
I remove the read only but the same thing happens.
It looks like you remove the read only permission but
when you take a second look it's still read only.

This is XP Pro SP1.

Help?

All the CREATOR OWNER boxes are clear on my machine too. I don't know why,
but it does seem to be normal.

which windows server you using?
try the "take ownership" box yet?

administrator account into it?(windows 2003 can do that)
