I am trying to install the software for the creative but I am getting error
messages when trying to use it, tell me 'YOUR MUSIC LIBRARY IS CORRUPTED AND
CANNOT BE RECOVERED and to download the update for jet engine 4.0 update. I
have tried this and it wont install, I already have this version.
I also get an internet error when trying to click on anything and the
programme shuts down.
Anybody have any ideas on how to solve my problem.

First go to the Control Panel/Add or Remove programs and see if anything
has already installed. Then, uninstall it. Use your installation disk and
reinstall
Creative. If it does not install, your installation disk may be either
corrupt or
you can try cleaning it first. Good luck and Happy New Year.

Thanks for the advice, I did try that without any luck. I have ended up
wiping the pc and starting again. The programme now works fine and I got rid
of all the rubbish as well.

Jem, when you say you 'ended up wiping the pc' what do you mean?

I have been having trouble since Jan with Creative Media Source installation
with the same error mesage as you. Creative have been rather unhelpful and
reckon it's my system as the CD works fine on other pc's I have tried.

I have installed, uninstalled and re-installed several times

Any ideas please??
