Hi all,
I need to hide Internet Explorer from my children. The twist is they use
Outlook Express but they are not permitted to use the internet for anything
other than emails.

Suggestions?

Provided they have user accounts on the machine, you could simply remove the
short cuts from the start menu and from the desktop.

Is this not what you need?

All the kids would have to do is type "IEXPLORE.EXE" in Run. And kids
end up being much more computer literate than their parents.

What did orthodox parents do before there were computers to get their
kids to follow their rules? I'm sure it wasn't pawning off their
parental responsibility on someone or something else.

you can type in a web address directly there. Although
Microsoft says you can remove IE browser from the system,
in actuallity it is very difficult. Internet connecting
is intergal to windows. So anywhere you can type an
address you can generally put in a internet address.

Do this, restrict running permissions to Iexploer and outlook to the
kids, and have them use Eudora or some other third party Email client.
