creating XP Pro installation disk with all latest patches ???

perhaps a silly question

starting with a legitimate copy of XP Pro SR-1 on CD-ROM

it's a "Corporate Licence" - so no problems with
the "Microsoft Activation" process,
and sufficient copies paid for to equip the entire company...

but...

by combining the files on this CD-ROM
with the downloads from Windows Update -

is it possible to produce an installation disk
that contains all of the latest patches and updates
so that XP Pro will be in its current latest form -
right at installation time ???

No. You can only make a xp cd with sp1 included. Anything after sp1 has to
be installed separately. SP2 will include all the ones after sp1 so you
could wait for that and be 100% current for about a week until the next
updates comes out.

This is untrue purplehaz. You may make a custom Windows XP Install disk
yourself. Burn it to a CD-RW so you can update it as you wish.
