Creating Shortcut for the Desktop in Quick Launch

[ECLiPSE 2002]

I once had a icon for the desktop in my Quick Launch task bar, but it
has disappeared. Can someone explain how to create another one.

Are you trying to create an Icon on your DESKTOP?
If you're looking for the icon in your taskbar....try rebooting your
computer and it should come up again.

I assume you know how to create a (proper) shortcut to your desktop?

Thanks to Bill and Will - rebooting didn't restore the desktop icon in
the Quick Launch area so I followed Will's suggestion and got it back.
