creating link to ODBC data source

I'm using Frontpage 2003 trying to create a ODBC data
link between an "Office Chart" (web component) and an
Access database that sits in an fpdb folder on a web
site. The problem is that when I search for an ODBC DSN
(remote data source) I am only allowed to search on the
hard drive of my computer and not on the website. How
can I create the connection to the website (and not my
local computer)?

Create it locally, then publish to the live server, then open Web Setting
and verify the connection.

How do I find the "web setting" command that you mention?

Thank you. In addition to my question about verifying
the connection. Once I have published to the website the
connection still appears as the C drive of my computer.
In other words their is no website database connection to
verify.

Try the following:

Import the database into your current open FP web / site, let FP move the
database to the fpdb folder and create the connection (global.asa). Then
publish the web to the live server.

I don't have access to my machine with FP2003, but you should see an option
under the Tools Menu.
