Creating general rule in Outlook

D

Dave Neve

Hello

I can't seem to create a general rule in Outlook as I could with Outlook
Express.

I would like for instance to colour all emails arriving from (e-mail address removed)
in red but I can't seem to do it.

The best I can do is to click on an email from every person @ name.com and
do it individually for each person.

I want to create a general rule though for any/all emails arriving from this
company.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks

You can create a rule that applies to Senders' address contains
@acorntraining.com.au Go to the Rules and Alerts function. You'll see that
there are many actions the rule can perform, but colour isn't one of them.

What you cannot do is use Tools | Organise to change colours based on part
of a sender's name.

Hi

I have Outlook Office 2003

Your remarks helped me find what I needed and I thank you.

May I point out however that 'colour' was an option in my version of Outlook

Thanks

Nope it's not. Not on 2003 on my system.

Did you maybe mean flag with a coloured flag?
