Creating fill in codes document

I am creating a template in Word 2007 with fields for an end user to
quickly move from one field to another to fill in names, city, etc. in
legal documents. I tried fillin field, but not sure how to not use
the fillin box and to easily replace the field code and move on to the
next. Any suggestions on how to do this or if there is a better
solution in 2007.
