Creating Bootable CD???

Chris

I need to create a bootable CD to re-install windows 2000 because I have the
MSDN Windows "Versions" CD that is not bootable. I see there is a utility to
create boot disks for the setup program, but does anybody know how to make a
bootable CD that does the same thing?

Downloading the ISO from MSDN will be the easiest and "safest" way. Taking
the files off of the MSDN CD will require editing several files to make it
work properly

Search Google for 'bootable CD Bart'. A search gives www.nu2.nu/bootcd/

There is a guy called Bart who has done a good instruction and pointers to
all files you need.

Hey Thomas,
Thanks a million!!!
That is a great site and has tons of info that I need to know. This has
saved me from having to jury-rig a solution to re-gen the Eng server I'm
fixing.

Thanks Again!
