Creating Back-ups

I recently converted a 97 access database to 2002 version. Periodically when
we are using the database it will close and create a back-up and ask to send
error reports. How do I stop this from happening, or what is going on?

The symptoms you describe occur when Access crashes. To solve it means
figuring out the cause of the crashes, and preventing them.

particularly the first 2 items under "Usability Issues":
- the Name AutoCorrect flaws, and
- a bug with LinkChildFields.

It is also important to ensure you have applied the service packs, both:
- SP3 for Office XP, and
- SP8 for JET 4.
