I am using Outlook 2000 for my Newsreader and was wondering if there is
anyway to create a desktop icon that would open just the Newsreader? Right
now, I must open either Outlook or IE then click on the menu to launch the
newsreader, I don't want to have to do that anymore, an icon would be nice.
Thanks.

outlook actually uses outlook express for news. Copy an OE shortcut onto the
desktop, and in the Target field under properties add the switch "/outnews"
(without the quotes).
