creating a back up disk

I am unable to back up to either a CD or a floppy. This
message appears when I attempt to back up to a floppy.
Using a cd, I get a message that says the path is
incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

If you are using the Backup utility that comes with Windows XP, this cannot
backup to removable media such as CD or Floppy.

There are two things that you can do: 1, use the XP Backup utility to make a
Backup onto your hard disk and then copy that Backup to CD or Floppy, or: 2,
Buy a third party Backup utility, such as "Power Quest Drive Image" as this
will allow you to make a copy directly to any removable media you have.
Personally, I use "Drive Image" and recommend it unreservedly. It has saved
my skin many a time!
