Error with Windows Backup Utility

When I use the MS backup utility to backup all files
(first time backing up) to a CD I get the following error

ackup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Backup.bkf created 4/15/2004 at 11:43 AM"


Error returned while creating the volume shadow
copy:80042301
Aborting Backup.

Thanks Rocky,

The strange thing is that I was able to do some back-ups
to CD-RW last year, using the same back-up utility ( I can
restore files from that backup to). That's the reason for
the confusion.
