Create Appointment Problem

After my last sync w/ PDA,
I cannot create new appointments.
I click "New Appointment" and nothing happens.
Also, I go into the actual calendar, type in the
appointment and then it says "Item cannot be saved."

Can anyone help? Thanks
 
What version of Outlook? How many items does the Calendar folder contain?
