My challenge is to create a word document that functions like a PDF – users
are unable to edit typefaces and formatting, but can access the document
easily and add information where they are prompted.
At a previous employer, with very strict advertising and document formatting
guidelines, I've seen a word template where are areas are gray/you cannot
edit with the exception for the areas that you can fill in (for instance,
they created a fax sheet for employees to use where the company logo remained
gray and you could not edit, but you can add your name and recipient
information).
Any suggestions on how I could duplicate this format now?
