Is it possible to copy a switchboard from 1 database to another? If not can
you give me the steps to create a switchboard, I have setup all the tables,
now I need to edit the form.

Thanks

you can import a form from another database.
file / get external data/ import
then navigate to the database with the switchboard form in
then select the switchboard form and click ok.

That will import the form, but obviously you'll need to change various
settings on it in order to configure it to your new database. (If the
switchboard is macro driven, you will also need to import the relevant macro
- or recreate it)

Jenn,

If you are using Access 2003, there is a Switchboard Manager that is located
on the Tools Menu under Database Utiltities.

This Switchboard Manager collects the information you input in the
Switchboard Table and does so much of the work for you.

If you are familiar with using a switchboard, you will probably be able to
use this Switchboard Manager easily.

Good Luck!

Santara,

How do I get my database to open right to the switchboard, instead of
opening right into the actual database

Tools, Startup, and choose your form in the display form combo.
