Create a sub-domain

Hi all.

I'm using Win2000 server with IIS 5.0


I just want to add a sub domain so my friends can see a special part of the
site.

so if I want special.mywebsite.com what should I do configure it??? I'm use
to create web site, but never done sub-domain.

as long as your DNS entry to the host exists and points to the box running
IIS, in the website properties clicking the advanced button on the web site
tab will allow you to configure IIS to accept requests based off host header
in the http requests. just make sure that all the sites on the box are set
to accept the appropriate host headers. "S.Tremblay"
