crc error

Can anyone tell me what CRC error #45 means and what to
do about it? I'm runnign XP Pro On a HP. Thanx

Where are you seeing this error message? A CRC error message means that a
file is corrupt.
 
CRC (Cyclic Reduntancy Check ) this is hardware issue in my case . I had
faced a same crc problem in during copy opertaion from my cdrom drive. Check
your hardware device . if frimware must be upgraded .This also occurs in
software when the software is not compressed properly the ratio is not proper
 
A CRC error usually means that the CD Disk is corrupted.
make sure the CD is clean and free of scratches.

Often due to a poor download of a file. Sometimes you have to download
again, sometimes you have to try another site.
