CRC Error

When i try to load programs on my computer from my
compact disc dvd drive, i get an error saying
that "rf1_heavyhand.mp3 doesnt match the file in the
setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running
teh setup may be corrupted." I tryed reloading xp and
reformatting but the problem remains. What do i do to
fix this problem?

Greetings --

This error usually means that the disk is defective, but it can
also happen if the read/write heads of the drive that created the disk
aren't aligned the same as the drive that's trying to read it.

The disk works in other computers to install the game, and the 3 cd drive we added, but i know the second kodak writer drive is not faulty and it didnt work in that machine.
